Introduction
Ramadan is truly a beautiful month. But many people complain that their Ramadan doesn't go well. Some people spend it just like ordinary days.
Some want to do something, but they don't understand which action to perform at what time. What to recite, when to recite it. Due to this confusion, their Ramadan doesn't pass properly.
The Special Virtue of Ramadan
Look, Ramadan is such a month that if you do a good deed on ordinary days, you get a normal reward for it. But if you do the same deed in Ramadan, Allah gives you many times more reward.
In a blessed Hadith, it is mentioned that in Ramadan, the reward of a voluntary act becomes equal to an obligatory one. And the reward of an obligatory act is multiplied seventy times. Subhan Allah! What a great virtue!
What Problems Do People Face?
Lack of Information
Some people don't know how to spend Ramadan. What to do, what not to do.
Being Too Busy
Some people are so busy that they think "Where do I have the time?"
Lack of Planning
And some people just start without any plan. Then their motivation breaks midway.
What's the Solution?
If we make a great strategy for this, adopt an easy method, then your Ramadan will pass so wonderfully that you'll feel it yourself.
Today I'll tell you some easy methods, some points. If you follow them, then insha'Allah your Ramadan will be very successful.
Daily Practices An Easy Schedule
Istighfar and Durood Sharif
First, listen carefully to the practices I'm telling you about.
Daily:
Istighfar: 100 times
Durood Sharif: 300 times
Remembrance of Allah's various names
Now you might be thinking "How can I recite so much? I don't have time!"
The Easiest Method
Look, you don't need to take out separate time for this. When you're going to the office in the morning, keep reciting Durood Sharif while sitting in the car. Going to some meeting? Keep reciting Istighfar on the way. Coming back? Complete your count.
That is, make yourself a schedule and just keep completing it.
The Joy of Monthly Review
Do one thing: keep a register or make a note on your mobile. Keep ticking daily how much you recited.
At the end of the month when you review, you'll see "Masha'Allah! I recited Durood Sharif 9000 times in 30 days!"
This feeling, this happiness cannot be described.
Consistency in Prayer
Second important thing: as soon as it's prayer time, pray immediately.
Don't delay. Don't think "a little while longer, then I'll pray."
Proper Use of Free Time
Now look, when you keep reciting Istighfar and Durood Sharif in your free time, gradually illumination will start coming into your heart.
Change in the Heart
Then what will happen? When you get a little free time, your heart itself will say: "Let's go, it's free time, let me read some Quran," or "Let me read some Hadith," or "Let me learn something about religion that will be useful in my life."
I'm saying this from experience. The benefit of these small practices is that illumination comes, sins are forgiven, Ramadan passes properly, and the desire to learn religion is created in the heart.
Quran, Translation and Tafsir
When this desire comes to your heart, then what to do? Read the Quran, understand the translation, read Tafsir, and learn jurisprudential issues. These things will be very useful.
Worship at All Times
Now you might be thinking "But I'm very busy!"
Look, the method I've told you is completely easy. Recite Istighfar while eating, keep reciting Durood Sharif while going somewhere, even when you go for tea after Iftar you can recite then, and on the way coming and going is also an excellent time for practices.
Conveying Reward to Parents
One very important thing is to remember your parents.
Those who have left this world, convey reward to them. Include them in your prayers.
Time of Iftar
Especially pray for them at the time of Iftar. In a blessed Hadith, it's mentioned that the prayer of a fasting person is accepted at the time of breaking fast.
What a precious moment this is! Don't waste it.
Time of Suhoor
Similarly, remember them at the time of Suhoor as well.
The Blessing of Tahajjud
If you've finished Suhoor, then take out 10-15 minutes and pray Tahajjud.
This morning time is very precious. Allah comes to the lowest heaven and asks "Is there anyone who asks?"
At this time, pray abundantly. For yourself, for your children's upbringing, to make your children righteous, so that they become a continuous charity for you.
Children's Training
Give special attention to your children in Ramadan as well. During these days, teach them religion, spend time with them, explain the value of elders, teach them to respect parents, and tell them the importance of prayer and fasting.
Why? So that tomorrow when you're not in this world, there will be someone or the other to pray for you.
An Easy Yet Valuable Ramadan
So this is the way to spend an easy but very valuable Ramadan. If you follow these things, you will earn reward for yourself, benefit your parents, train your children, and improve your hereafter.
And all of this in your normal routine, without taking out any special time.
