Introduction
Ramadan is truly a beautiful month. But many people complain that their Ramadan doesn't go well. Some spend it just like ordinary days. Others want to do something but don't know where to start, what to recite, or when to recite it. Due to this confusion, the month passes without real benefit.
The good news? With a simple plan and the right guidance, this Ramadan can be truly transformative for you and your family.
The Special Virtue of Ramadan
Ramadan is such a month that if you do a good deed on ordinary days, you get a normal reward. But the same deed in Ramadan earns you many times more.
In a blessed Hadith, it is mentioned that in Ramadan, the reward of a voluntary act becomes equal to an obligatory one. And the reward of an obligatory act is multiplied seventy times. Subhan Allah! What a great virtue!
What Problems Do People Face?
Lack of Information. Some people simply don't know how to spend Ramadan well, what to do, or what to avoid.
Being Too Busy Others feel, "Where do I have the time?" especially parents managing work, home, and children at once.
Lack of Planning And some just start without a plan. Their motivation breaks midway, and the month slips by.
What's the solution?
A simple strategy and an easy routine can change everything. Today, I'll share some straightforward methods. Follow them, and insha'Allah your Ramadan will be so wonderful that you'll feel the difference yourself.
Daily Practices: An Easy Schedule
Istighfar and Durood Sharif
Here are the daily practices to aim for:
Istighfar: 100 times
Durood Sharif: 300 times
Remembrance of Allah's various names throughout the day
Now you might be thinking, "How can I recite so much? I don't have time!"
The Easiest Method
You don't need to take out separate time for this. Recite Durood Sharif while sitting in the car on the way to the office. Keep reciting Istighfar on the way to a meeting. Coming back? Complete your count.
Make yourself a simple schedule and just keep going.
The Joy of Monthly Review
Keep a small register or a note on your phone. Tick off daily how much you recited.
At the end of the month, you'll see, "Masha'Allah! I recited Durood Sharif 9,000 times in 30 days!"
This feeling, this happiness, it cannot be described.
Consistency in Prayer
As soon as it's prayer time, pray immediately. Don't delay. Don't think, "A little while longer, then I'll pray." Consistency in Salah is the backbone of a productive Ramadan.
Proper Use of Free Time
When you keep reciting Istighfar and Durood Sharif in your free moments, something beautiful begins to happen: illumination starts coming into the heart.
Change in the Heart
Then, when you get a little free time, your heart itself will say, "Let's go; let me recite the Kalam Allah," or "Let me read some Hadith," or "Let me learn something about religion that will be useful in my life."
I say this from experience. The benefit of these small practices is that real sins are forgiven, Ramadan passes properly, and a genuine desire to learn Quran online and understand the sacred text is created in the heart.
Al-Kitab, Translation, and Tafsir
When this desire comes, act on it. Read the Kalam Pak, understand the translation, explore Tafsir, and learn basic jurisprudential issues. These things will be deeply useful not just in Ramadan but for life.
For families who want structured guidance, enrolling in online Quran classes during Ramadan can be a great step. Students from the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, and the UAE are finding it easier than ever to learn Quran online with qualified teachers from the comfort of home.
Worship at All Times
Worried about being too busy? The method shared here is completely easy. Recite Istighfar while eating, and recite Durood Sharif while going somewhere, even during tea after Iftar; the way to and from anywhere is an excellent time for remembrance.
Conveying Reward to Parents
One very important thing to remember is your parents. Those who have left this world, convey reward to them. Include them in your prayers.
Time of Iftar
Especially pray for them at Iftar. In a blessed Hadith, it is mentioned that the prayer of a fasting person is accepted at the time of breaking fast. What a precious moment; don't waste it.
Time of Suhoor
Similarly, remember them at Suhoor as well.
The Blessing of Tahajjud
After Suhoor, take out 10 to 15 minutes and pray Tahajjud. This morning time is very precious. Allah comes to the lowest heaven and asks, "Is there anyone who asks?"
Pray abundantly at this time. For yourself, for your family, for your children's upbringing, so that they become a continuous charity for you.
Children's Training
Give special attention to your children in Ramadan. Teach them religion, spend time with them, explain the value of elders, and teach them to respect parents. Help them understand the importance of prayer and fasting.
Why? So that tomorrow, when you're no longer in this world, there will be someone to pray for you.
For parents who are busy, online Quran classes for kids offer a wonderful solution. A good online Quran teacher doesn't just teach recitation; they build the child's character, morals, and connection with the Kalam Kareem. This is true Islamic education for children that carries on long after Ramadan ends.
An Easy Yet Valuable Ramadan
This is the way to spend a simple but deeply valuable Ramadan. Follow these steps, and you will earn a reward for yourself, benefit your parents, train your children, and improve your hereafter, all within your normal routine, without taking out any special time.
